Samba TV: ‘Night Agent’ Tops Weekly Streaming Viewership Through Feb. 2

Season two of Netflix’s “The Night Agent” took over the No. 1 on Samba TV’s list of top streaming programs for the week of Jan. 27 to Feb. 2.
Based on the novel by Matthew Quirk, “The Night Agent” centers on a low-level FBI agent who works in the basement of the White House, manning a phone that never rings — until the night that it does, propelling him into a fast-moving and dangerous conspiracy. Season two bowed Jan. 23.
The first season, from 2023, was No. 7.
No. 2 was Prime Video’s You’re Cordially Invited, the comedy starring Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell that started streaming Jan. 30. In the film, two weddings are accidentally booked at the same time and place, leading to a battle of determination and grit between the father of the bride (Ferrell) and sister of the other bride (Witherspoon).
The previous week’s top title, Netflix’s Back in Action, dropped to No. 3. The action film stars Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz as former CIA agents who, years after retiring to start a family together, return to duty to stop enemy agents from obtaining a potentially dangerous device that can control any electronic system.
