‘Wicked’ Remains No. 1 on Disc Sales Charts

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s Wicked remained No. 1 on the Circana VideoScan chart, which tracks combined DVD and Blu-ray Disc unit sales, and the dedicated Blu-ray Disc chart the week ended Feb. 15.

Based on the first half of the hit Broadway musical of the same name, the film serves as a prequel to The Wizard of Oz about the rise to power of Glinda the Good Witch and Elphaba, who becomes the Wicked Witch of the West. It also remained atop the dedicated 4K disc chart.

No. 2 on all three charts was Sony Pictures’ Venom: The Last Dance. In its fourth week, the comic book adventure sold fewer than 22% as many copies as the week’s top seller.

Mubi’s The Substance, the Oscar hopeful starring Demi Moore as an aging star who uses a drug to create a younger version of herself, remained No. 3 on all three charts.
