Universal’s ‘Wicked’ Streaming on Peacock Beginning March 21

Universal Pictures’ top-grossing musical Wicked is set to begin streaming on the Peacock platform March 21.

Nominated for 10 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, the musical fantasy based in part on The Wizard of Oz, generated $728 million at the global box office, including $472 million across North American screens. The movie stars Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum, among others.

Peacock bonus content includes a sing-along version, “Defying Gravity; The Curtain Rises on Wicked NBC Special,” making-of featurettes, deleted and extended scenes, and “As Seen on Screen Podcast Episodes.”
