‘Final Destination Bloodlines’ Tops Weekly Fandango at Home Chart Through June 22

Warner’s Final Destination Bloodlines topped the chart of the top 10 titles on Fandango’s transactional digital service Fandango at Home for the week ended June 22.

The sixth film in New Line Cinema’s “Final Destination” franchise — available for premium digital rental and sale starting June 17 — takes audiences back to the very beginning of Death’s twisted sense of justice. In the film, plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefani heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle — her grandmother Iris — and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all. Meanwhile, landing at No. 5 on the chart was the Final Destination 6-Film Collection bundle at $59.99.

Falling from the top spot to No. 2 on the chart was Sinners. The horror flick from Ryan Coogler, director of Black Panther and Creed, was released for premium digital purchase and rental June 3. In the film, trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (Michael B. Jordan in a dual role) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.

Dropping a spot to No. 3 on the chart was Disney-owned 20th Century Studios’ spy thriller The Amateur, which became available for premium sale and rental starting June 10. The film stars Rami Malek as CIA codebreaker Charlie Heller, who channels his intellect into a relentless pursuit of justice after his wife (Rachel Brosnahan) is killed in a terrorist attack. Under the tactical guidance of seasoned CIA operative Henderson (Laurence Fishburne), Heller evolves from analyst to avenger.
