Netflix Names Elizabeth Stone to Newly Created Chief Product and Technology Officer Role
February 3, 2026
Netflix has named Elizabeth Stone, who previously served as chief technology officer, to the newly created chief product and technology officer position to lead the streamer’s combined product, engineering and data teams.

Stone has filled the CPO position since the departure of Eunice Kim last September after five years.
Netflix co-CEO Greg Peters, who once held the CTO position, in a statement, praised Stone as the “clear choice” to lead the streamer’s product and technology teams.
Peters said that over her six-year Netflix tenure Stone has demonstrated a “remarkable ability to simplify complexity” and “connect the dots across our business.”
Peters also noted Stone’s ability to “help teams move quickly,” adding that she is the right leader as the streamer pursues “big, bold priorities,” including the pending acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming and studio assets.
The promotion aims to consolidate Netflix’s product and technology functions under a single management leader.
