TCLtv+, the ad-supported streaming service offered by Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer TCL, and Bloomberg Media on May 13 announced a joint content partnership that will bring two of its FAST channels to the streaming app beginning this month.
The apps enable viewers to access Bloomberg’s video content, global business coverage and analysis on Bloomberg TV+ and Bloomberg Originals programming. Bloomberg’s new AVOD titles will launch this spring.
Bloomberg joins a slate of programming recently added to the streaming app, which is currently available to TCL Google TV and will soon be available on all other TCL connected TVs in the United States and Canada.
TCLtv+ now includes more than 330 FAST Channels, in addition to movies and TV series from Scripps Media, Fremantle, NBCUniversal, Sony, Lionsgate, A+E, FilmRise and Banijay, among others. Recent partnerships include content deals with Fox and the NFL.
“The launch of Bloomberg’s premium video content on TCL+ is an expansion of our broader global partnership with TCL,” Travis Winkler, GM of video and audio for Bloomberg Media, said in a statement.
