Samsung Plus TV, the CE manufacturer’s ad-supported streaming service, Jan. 31 rolled out access to Pickleballtv, the platform’s 350th free ad-supported streaming (FAST) channel.
Pickleball is considered the fastest-growing sport in the U.S. with 36 million active players in the U.S.
The 24-hour channel will show more than 30 live Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour tournaments (with teams whose owners include Tom Brady, Eva Longoria and LeBron James), along with original programming and a weekly studio news show. The channel is the latest sports offering from the Tennis Channel and the Carvana Professional Pickleball Association (PPA Tour).
Founded in 2018 and based in Salt Lake City, the Carvana PPA Tour is operated by parent corporation, Pickleball.com.
