Cineverse is touting cineSearch’s recent win of the DEG EnTech Emerging Technology Award, noting the product’s attributes.
Cineverse’s AI-powered content search engine cineSearch was honored at the 5th annual EnTech Awards presented Oct. 7 by DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group at a ceremony in Los Angeles. CineSearch is powered by Matchpoint.
The Emerging Technology category honors companies for creating new, consumer-facing technology positively affecting the future of digital entertainment.
“We are proud of the work our team has done to bring cineSearch to where it is today — solving the film and TV search and discovery problem that costs an unnecessary amount of time for consumers and money for platforms,” Tony Huidor, president of technology and chief product officer at Cineverse, said in a statement.
Huidor pointed out cineSearch is lowering average search time by 90%, annual churn by 15.6% and generating average savings of 24% per month.
“As this AI-based product continues to learn from viewers, these numbers will only get better,” he said.
In addition to cineSearch’s win at the EnTech Awards, Huidor was recognized as a finalist in the DEG’s EnTech Technology Leadership category.
