Netflix Touts 2025 BAFTA TV, BAFTA TV Craft Awards Wins

Netflix is touting its six awards at the 2025 BAFTA TV and BAFTA TV Craft Awards May 11 in London.

Jessica Gunning won Best Supporting Actress for her performance in “Baby Reindeer,” the dramedy about a woman who torments an aspiring comic. Gunning has now set a record for awards won in every industry nomination.

The limited series’ creator and lead star Richard Gadd won Best Writer: Drama, while Weronika Tofilska won Best Director: Fiction.

The accolades come as a U.S. judge last year ruled the show was not a true story and that Netflix had reportedly “made no effort to investigate” the accuracy of the facts presented in the series. As a result, district court judge Gary Klaus allowed plaintiff Fiona Harvey, a lawyer from Scotland, to pursue her $170 million defamation lawsuit, claiming she has been portrayed as the show’s alleged stalker, played by Gunning.

Netflix also won Best Costume Design for the series “Eric,” starring Benedict Cumberbatch; Best Scripted Casting for “Supacell”; and Best Sound: Factual for “Secret World of Sound With David Attenborough.”
