Warner’s ‘Wuthering Heights’ Looks to Return Margot Robbie to the Top of the Weekend Box Office

Warner Bros. Pictures’ latest rendition of the Emily Bronte-novel-based romance drama Wuthering Heights, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, tops four new weekend box office releases through the extended Presidents’ Day weekend (ending Feb. 16).

Heights, directed by Emerald Fennell, is projected to do well, especially well on Valentine’s Day Saturday, generating $48 million in estimated ticket sales through Feb. 16, according to estimates from BoxOfficeReport.com.

The release is the first major theatrical title from Warner in 2026, which ranked No. 2 among studios at the box office in 2025 with $4.38 billion in global ticket sales. It could also be Robbie’s return to the box office podium since her star turn in Barbie in 2023.

Entering the NBA All-Star weekend, Sony Pictures Animation’s (the studio behind KPop Demon Hunters) computer animated basketball movie GOAT, featuring a voice cast that includes Caleb McLaughlin, Gabrielle Union, Aaron Pierre, Nicola Coughlan, David Harbour, Nick Kroll and Steph Curry, who also produces, is projected to rank No. 2 with $23 million in ticket sales.

Amazon MGM Studios’ crime actioner Crime 101, starring Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan and Halle Berry, is projected to finish at No. 3 with $15.5 million.

“Critical reviews for Crime 101 have been quite strong, which could give the film a bit of a boost this weekend,” analyst Daniel Garris wrote in a post.

Another new release, Briarcliff’s sci-fi comedy Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, starring Sam Rockwell as a man from the future who attempts to stop an AI apocalypse in the present day, is projected to make $3.5 million in ticket sales.

Returning feature films include 20th Century Studios’ survival drama Send Help with another projected $9.8 million in ticket sales; Angel Studios’ jilted wedding alter romance Send Milo ($7.4 million); Markiplier Studios’ sci-fi horror film Iron Lung ($4.3 million); Disney’s Zootopia 2 ($3.8 million); Vertical Entertainment’s Dracula, with a projected $3.4 million in its second weekend; and 20th Century Studios’ Avatar: Fire and Ash with another projected $2.8 million in ninth-weekend ticket sales.
