Warner Bros. Discovery Unveils 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics Studio

Warner Bros. Discovery Sports Europe has unveiled its multipurpose studios that will broadcast live the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics, beginning Feb. 6, in Italy. Every live event during the Games will be streamed on HBO Max and Discovery+, in addition to Eurosport and TNT Sports, across Europe.

NBC Sports and Peacock have exclusive distribution rights to the Olympic Games in the United States.

WBD will broadcast from the Nations Village, Cortina d’Ampezzo. A studio housed over two floors will serve Eurosport’s pan-European production with dedicated sets for Italy, Germany, Norway and Poland primed to deliver local language shows to connect viewers to every event taking place.

As the countdown to the Opening Ceremony at the San Siro stadium in Milan begins, WBD is covering every major winter sports event, beginning last week with the Alpine Skiing World Cup in Sölden, Austria last week, featuring 1,427 live hours across 131 days up to the Games.

WBD said it is working with six winter sports federations covering 13 different sports, with reporters embedded on-site across Europe with up to 15 venues covered per day at the height of the season. This includes live coverage of every World Cup event covering alpine skiing, biathlon, ski jumping, Nordic combined, freestyle skiing, cross-country skiing, ski mountaineering, snowboard, luge, figure skating, curling and more.

HBO Max Olympics coverage includes Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Italy following the platform’s launch in January 2026. The Olympic Winter Games will also be available on Discovery+ in a number of territories.

The Winter Games run through Feb. 22, 2026.
