JustWatch: Season Two of Netflix’s ‘Bridgerton’ Topped Franchise’s Three-Season Global Reach

Netflix’s release of part one of the third season of its re-imagined period drama “Bridgerton” has generated strong streaming data, including the highest IMDb ratings among all three seasons since its May 16 launch.

Yet, the second season of the show actually generated the strongest traction among streamers in its first week of release, according to new data from JustWatch.com.

The company’s charts are calculated by user activity, including clicking on a streaming offer, adding a title to a watchlist, and marking a title as “seen.” This data is collected from more than 40 million movie and TV show viewers per month. It is updated daily for 140 countries and 4,500 streaming services.

That season generated the most viewership across 93 countries, compared with 14 countries for season three, and 11 countries for season one.

“We created this report by pulling data from the week following the release of ‘Bridgerton,’ and compared it to the previous two seasons,” spokesperson Manon Tanguay said in a statement.
