Paramount Home Entertainment’s Texas oil drama Landman: Season One arrives on DVD and Blu-ray Disc May 13.
Starring Oscar winner Billy Bob Thornton and from co-creators Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, the show is set in the boomtowns of West Texas and is a modern-day tale of fortune-seeking in the world of oil rigs. The series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.
The three-disc set includes three featurettes, including cast and crew interviews. The bonus content allows viewers to explore the contrasting dynamics of Tommy (Thornton) and Angela’s (Ali Larter) relationship vs. Cami (Demi Moore) and Monty’s (Jon Hamm) polished power couple.
Bonus material includes stunts and action sequences that made showrunner Taylor Sheridan’s show possible, in addition to the “Boomtown” podcast that helped inspire the show.
