50 Women to Watch in the Digital Entertainment Business 2025
September 23, 2025
Welcome to Media Play News’ second annual “50 Women to Watch in the Digital Entertainment Business,” a salute to the top women executives involved in bringing movies, shows and other filmed content directly to the consumer, either at home or on the go.
Once again, our list is a who’s who of the women our editors believe will play the biggest role in shaping and defining — and, in some cases, reshaping and redefining — the content, distribution and technology involved in the “last mile” of entertainment.
To come up with our list, the Media Play News editorial team relied on nominations from our readers as well as our own research to sift through hundreds of worthy contenders to identify the 50 standouts. And the increasingly fast pace of change in our industry is reflected in the fact that more than half the women on this year’s list are newcomers.
So let’s meet the 2025 edition of Media Play News’ “50 Women to Watch in the Digital Entertainment Business” and, through a Q&A sprinkled throughout the section, see what they have to say in a separate Q&A posted here.
