San Diego Comic-Con International returned July 20-23, 2023, kicking off with a special preview night July 19 at the San Diego Convention Center. The annual pop culture convention didn’t have the celebrity firepower of years past as a result of actors and writers strikes, which in turn prompted many of the Hollywood studios to roll back their participation. Even without the headline-grabbing star studded Hall H announcements, guests had plenty to see and do, from exciting photo ops on the show floor to interactive activations in downtown San Diego.
