Paramount Releasing ‘Roofman’ Across Digital Platforms on Nov. 11

Paramount Pictures is set to release the heist caper Roofman, starring Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst, for premium digital rental and sale Nov. 11.

The movie generated more than $31 million at the global box office, including $22.3 million across North American screens.

Based on a true story, the movie follows Jeffrey Manchester (Tatum), an Army veteran and struggling father who turns to robbing McDonald’s restaurants by cutting holes in their roofs, earning him the nickname “Roofman.”

After escaping prison, he secretly lives inside a Toys “R” Us for six months, surviving undetected while planning his next move. But when he falls for Leigh (Dunst), a divorced mom drawn to his undeniable charm, his double life begins to unravel, setting off a compelling and suspenseful game of cat and mouse as his past closes in.

The digital release includes more than 45 minutes of bonus material, including “Based on Actual Events and Terrible Decisions,” which goes behind the scenes with the cast and crew as they uncover the unbelievable story of Jeffrey Manchester. “Chasing The Ghosts: The Director’s Method” showcases director Derek Cianfrance for an in-depth exploration of his documentarian approach to crafting Roofman, offering a glimpse into his filmmaking process. “A Good Place To Hide” features the playmakers who re-created a Toys “R” Us store and brought the set to life. “Driving Lesson” sees Kirsten Dunst give her on-screen teenage daughter, Lily Collias, an actual driving lesson. “Choir Practice” features Uzo Aduba leading a lively church choir rehearsal. Also included are deleted and alternate scenes.
