Samsung TV Plus to Be Exclusive MotoAmerica Race FAST Channel Home for 2026-27

Samsung TV Plus will be the exclusive FAST channel home for live MotoAmerica races for the 2026-27 seasons, the streaming service announced.

Samsung TV Plus and V10 Entertainment have unveiled a partnership with MotoAmerica that will bring viewers every live race and coverage of the seasons.

The 84th running of the Daytona 200 kicks off March 6 on the Samsung TV Network (STN), followed by the debut of MotoAmericaTV, the exclusive Samsung FAST destination slated to launch later this spring. The 24/7 channel will present 200-plus hours of North America’s premier motorcycle road racing series and premium race content, as well as live event streams, full race replays, select practice sessions and qualifiers, and complete race coverage. For the first time ever, every class will be televised, including an all-women’s class and the MotoAmerica premier Superbike class, which is celebrating 2026 as the pinnacle of 50 years of production-based motorcycle racing. Viewers can also catch select live races on STN throughout the season.

The new destination will also deliver a look at behind-the-scenes content and a library of archival videos, including highlight reels. MotoAmerica’s 2026 season will span 10 race weekends from March through September across seven premier classes and 10 states, with events held at legendary circuits, including Daytona International Speedway, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, and the Circuit of The Americas.

In 2025, MotoAmerica closed out its most successful season to date, with a surge in linear-TV viewership, as well as more than 2.5 million digital video views and a social following of more than 4 million fans. Its live-event races brought in more than 400,000 enthusiasts across 12 events, including a record-setting crowd at Road America.  MotoAmerica brings to audiences more than 100 live races across seven premier classes, including Superbike, Supersport, King of the Baggers, Twins Cup, Royal Enfield Build.Train.Race., the Super Hooligan National Championship, and the newly launched Talent Cup.

MotoAmerica is the latest addition to Samsung TV Plus’s lineup of live events from sports leagues, including the NHL, MLB, NBA, NFL and FAST-exclusive MLV coverage. Samsung TV Plus, which recently surpassed 100 million monthly active users, offers more than 4,300 channels globally, subscription-free, and is available in 30 countries exclusively across Samsung TVs, Samsung Galaxy phones, XR headsets, Galaxy Tab, Smart Monitor and Family Hub lineups. This includes the new 2026 TV series announced earlier this year at CES, spanning Samsung Micro RGB TV, Neo QLED, OLED, The Frame, The Frame Pro and more.

Pluto TV to Start Streaming Sci-Fi Classic Series ‘The X Files’ Jan. 1

Pluto TV will start streaming the classic sci-fi series “The X-Files” Jan. 1, 2026.

All 11 seasons (218 episodes of the series, which debuted in 1993, including the 2016 revival) will be available free on-demand and on a dedicated 24/7 linear channel in Pluto TV’s Sci-Fi category, alongside dedicated channels for “Star Trek,” “The Twilight Zone,” “Stargate” and “Doctor Who.”

The channel kicks off with a complete chronological run through of the series, followed by curated weekend marathons.

Pluto TV Streaming ‘Three’s Company’ Tribute Marathon in Honor of John Ritter Sept. 11

Free streaming TV service Pluto TV will host a special tribute marathon of classic “Three’s Company” episodes in honor of John Ritter and in support of The John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health beginning at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT on Sept. 11.

The Foundation’s mission is to raise awareness and funds for aortic health research.

Pluto TV’s dedicated 24/7 “Three’s Company” channel will feature a curated selection of episodes chosen by Ritter’s family, friends and professional admirers. In addition, his legacy will be celebrated with a live celebrity-staged reading from the iconic television series, held during the Foundation’s Evening from the Heart gala in Los Angeles on Sept. 12.

The marathon will showcase episodes handpicked by Kaley Cuoco, Adam Devine, Jason Alexander, original cast members Priscilla Barnes and Richard Kline, and more. Highlighted episodes include “Double Trouble,” “Up in the Air,” “And Now Here’s Jack,” “A Night Not to Remember” and “Baby It’s Cold Inside.” The celebration wraps up with the ultimate classic mix-up, “Going to Pot,” which will also take center stage during the live celebrity read.

Pluto TV will host the on-demand release of the live reading, offering a chance to experience The John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health’s Evening from the Heart L.A. gala while helping raise awareness for The John Ritter Foundation’s mission. The live reading will be available free on-demand exclusively on Pluto TV at a later date.

Pluto TV Launches ‘Beyond the Gates’ Channel

Free streaming service Pluto TV has launched a dedicated “Beyond the Gates” channel, featuring more than 90 episodes at launch, with additional episodes joining the channel eight days after their CBS premiere.

“Beyond the Gates,” created by Emmy-winner Michele Val Jean, premiered on CBS in February 2025. The series is the first daytime television soap opera to feature a predominately African-American cast since “Generations” (1989–1991).

“Beyond the Gates” follows a powerful and prestigious family who reigns over a posh gated community with juicy secrets and scandals waiting to be uncovered.

Vizio’s WatchFree+ Bowing ‘Sizzling Summer Movies’ in August

Vizio’s WatchFree+ free streaming service is bowing a new “Sizzling Summer Movies” hub in August. 

The hub is a collection of  summer blockbusters, including titles such as:

Vizio’s WatchFree+ to Bow ‘Dinner With Gavin Rossdale’ Feb. 13

Vizio has announced the exclusive premiere of the celebrity culinary talk series “Dinner With Gavin Rossdale” on WatchFree+ Feb. 13.

Rossdale, lead singer and songwriter of multi-platinum albums for the band Bush, opens his home to guests including tennis legend Serena Williams, multi-hyphenate entertainer Common, actress Selma Blair, author and actress Brooke Shields, singer Sir Tom Jones, and actor and comedian Jack McBrayer. While Gavin prepares world-class gastronomic delights for their enjoyment, he engages with his guests in deeply personal conversations about their lives, careers and everything in between.

Viewers are welcomed into intimate discussions as Rossdale and guests talk about life’s important moments. Selma Blair reflects on being a single parent and her remarkable journey through MS, while Common and Gavin bond over humble beginnings, Serena Williams and Rossdale sing an unexpected duet, and much more.

Tubi Bowing Original Movie ‘Sidelined: The QB and Me’ on Nov. 29

Fox’s ad-supported free streaming service Tubi will release the original movie Sidelined: The QB and Me, starring Siena Agudong, Noah Beck, Drew Ray Tanner, Deborah Cox and James Van Der Beek, on Nov. 29.

Based on the Young Adult novel, The QB Bad Boy and Me by Tay Marley, the story follows Dallas (Agudong), a burdened but headstrong dancer who is determined to get into the best dance school in the country — her late mother’s alma mater. But that dream is derailed when the cheeky yet secretly grieving high-school heartthrob Drayton (Beck) crashes into her life with a unique story of his own.

Filmed in Victoria, B.C., Sidelined is directed by Toronto-based Justin Wu (Syfy’s “Reginald the Vampire,” CBC’s “Kim’s Convenience”) from the teleplay by Mary Gulino (Prime Video’s “Upload”) and Crystal Ferreiro (Disney’s “Diary of a Future President”).

The movie is produced by Adam Wescott, McKenna Marshall and Wattpad WEBTOON Studios’ Aron Levitz, David Madden and Lindsey Weems Ramey. Lindsay Macadam, David Way and Tony Chung are executive producing for Thunderbird Entertainment’s Great Pacific Media.

Parks: 42% of U.S. Internet Households Used Free Ad-Based Streaming Video Service in Past 30 days

New data from Parks Associates found that the use of free ad-based streaming video services is on the rise, with the number of U.S. internet households that used one of these services in the past 30 days increasing from 27% in 2022 to 42% in 2024.

Currently, 88% of U.S. internet households subscribe to at least one streaming video service.

The Dallas-based research firm will host a session highlighting the rise in AVOD use and its revenue potential for platforms and advertisers at a virtual event on Oct. 10, 11 a.m. CT, and then at an in-person conference Nov. 19-21, at the Marina del Rey Marriott, in Marina del Rey, Calif.

“Consumers have unprecedented freedom of choice on what content they watch, where, and how. Our event focuses on the market impacts of this consumer empowerment, the influence of external circumstances such as economic factors, industry changes, and technological advancements, and successful strategies to grow revenue in this challenging environment,” Ashton Gambrell, director of sales, sponsorships at Parks, said in a statement.

Future Today Licenses Studio Titles for Fawesome Streaming Service

Future Today, which delivers CTV ad-supported solutions, has licensed new titles from major studios for its free streaming service Fawesome, including agreements for films and TV shows from Sony Pictures Entertainment, Samuel Goldwyn Films and Gravitas Ventures.

“Fawesome’s growing audience has come to expect engaging and entertaining content,” David Di Lorenzo, SVP of content acquisitions and partnerships at Future Today, said in a statement. “Our new deals with these major studios allow us to continue to expand our premium content offering while satisfying the wants of our audience.”

Fawesome is set to feature nearly a dozen films from Sony Pictures Entertainment, including titles such as Insidious, The Mortal Instruments, Two Rode Together, The Fog (2005), Drive (2011), Priest (2011), The Guns of Navarone and Legion

Titles from Samuel Goldwyn Films include The Baader Meinhof Complex, Accident Man, Another Round, Beyond the Edge, Hamlet, Margrete: Queen of the North, Mean Guns, Spoor, Spun, Taxi, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! and Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific.

Future Today also recently finalized a collaboration with the Mansa FAST channel, offering stories focused on Black culture. 

This year alone, Fawesome, which features a new user interface, has expanded its library by adding more than 15,000 new movie titles. These enhancements have contributed to year-over-year user growth of more than 100%, according to Future Today.

“Future Today is dedicated to providing premium content solutions for advertisers. With Fawesome boasting an exceptionally diverse audience, often challenging to engage, these partnerships help brands reach desired audiences more effectively,” Jennifer D’Alessandro, head of ad sales and marketing at Future Today, said in a statement.

The announcement comes on the heels of the recently announced partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery. 

Fawesome — which features a collection of 173,000 popular movies, comedy specials, documentaries and television shows, spanning all genres — is available on all major OTT platforms and streaming devices, including Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, smart TVs, and iOS and Android devices.

In addition to Fawesome, Future Today’s ad-supported streaming channels include HappyKids and iFood.tv.
