HBO Max Streaming A24’s ‘Friendship’ Starting Sept. 5

The A24 comedy Friendship will stream exclusively on HBO Max in the United States beginning Sept. 5, a day before its debut on HBO linear at 8 p.m. ET Sept. 6.
In the film, suburban dad Craig falls hard for his charismatic new neighbor, but Craig’s attempts to make an adult male friend threaten to ruin both of their lives. Friendship stars Tim Robinson, Kate Mara, Jack Dylan Grazer and Paul Rudd.
The film was written and directed by Andrew DeYoung, and produced by Raphael Margules, J.D. Lifshitz, Nick Weidenfeld and Johnny Holland.
Friendship made $16.5 million at the global box office and was released on Blu-ray Disc Aug. 5.
