The Apple TV+ series \u201cSeverance\u201d retained the No. 1 spot on the Whip Media chart of streaming originals among U.S. consumers for the week ended Feb. 2.<\/p>\n

The second season of “Severance” debuted Jan. 17. The series follows Mark Scout (Adam Scott), who leads a team at Lumon Industries, whose employees have undergone a severance procedure that surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives.<\/p>\n

Up a spot to No. 2 was Netflix’s “The Night Agent.” Based on the novel by Matthew Quirk, “The Night Agent” centers on a low-level FBI Agent who works in the basement of the White House, manning a phone that never rings \u2014 until the night that it does, propelling him into a fast-moving and dangerous conspiracy that ultimately leads all the way to the Oval Office. The second season debuted Jan. 23. <\/p>\n

Down a spot to No. 3 was the Peacock competition series \u201cThe Traitors.\u201d The game show, a U.S. version of the reality TV series where contestants must work together to eliminate other contestants, bowed its third season Jan. 9.<\/p>\n

Up to No. 4 was the Paramount+ series “Dexter: Original Sin,” the prequel to “Dexter” that depicts the early years of vigilante serial killer Dexter Morgan with the Miami Metro Police Department.<\/p>\n
