Netflix Feb. 4 released first-look images and a trailer for its upcoming sci-fi action thriller War Machine, which debuts March 6 on the streaming service.
In the film, the selection process for new members of an elite U.S. Army Ranger team turns into a fight for survival when their training exercise is interrupted by an unimaginable threat from another world.
The cast includes Alan Ritchson, Dennis Quaid, Stephan James, Jai Courtney, Esai Morales, Blake Richardson, Keiynan Lonsdale and Daniel Webber.
The film was directed by Patrick Hughes, who co-wrote the screenplay with James Beaufort. Hughes also serves as a producer alongside Greg McLean of Huge Film. Other producers include Todd Lieberman and Alexander Young of Hidden Pictures, and Rich Cook of Range. Valerie Bleth Sharp serves as executive producer.
