Among the nine nominees for the Academy Award for Best Picture announced Jan. 23, Warner’s Dunkirk and Universal’s Get Out were the only ones already available on home video.
A third, Darkest Hour, is due on DVD and Blu-ray Feb. 27 from Universal.
Other Best Picture nominees include The Shape of Water, which led all Oscar nominations with 13; Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, with seven total nominations; Phantom Thread, with six; Lady Bird, with five; Call Me by Your Name, with four; The Post, with two.
Among the nominees for Best Animated Feature, Pixar’s Coco will be released on Digital HD Feb. 13 and on DVD and Blu-ray Feb. 27 by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment; DreamWorks Animation’s The Boss Baby is available on disc and Digital HD now from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment; and Loving Vincent is available on disc and digital from Cinedigm. Fox’s Ferdinand and GKIDS’s The Breadwinner have yet to be announced for home video.
