Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment will make the biopic Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere available through digital platforms at a premium price Dec. 23, followed by 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray Disc releases Jan. 20.
The film has earned $45 million at the global box office.
From 20th Century Studios, Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere chronicles the making of Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 “Nebraska” album. Recorded on a 4-track recorder in Springsteen’s New Jersey bedroom, the album marked a pivotal time in his life and is considered one of his most enduring works. The musician and songwriter is portrayed by Jeremy Allen White, who authentically plays guitar and sings, a role for which he was recently honored with a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture — Drama.
Extras include a four-part making-of documentary.
