‘Fight Club’ Making 4K Disc and Digital Debut May 12 Following Theatrical Re-release

The 1999 film Fight Club will arrive on 4K for the first time through digital retailers and as a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Steelbook May 12 from Disney-owned 20th Century Studios, following a nationwide one-night-only theatrical event April 22.

A subversive treatise on masculinity based on the novel of the same name by Chuck Palahniuk, the film from David Fincher stars Edward Norton as a bored insomniac who encounters the iconoclastic Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt). Rebelling against the norms of society, they form an underground fight club to vent their aggressive tendencies and recruit other local men dissatisfied with their lives.

The cast also includes Helena Bonham Carter, Jared Leto, Holt McCallany, Zach Grenier, Elon Bailey and Meat Loaf.

In conjunction with the meticulously restored 4K Ultra HD editions of the film, New Regency and Insight Editions will release a companion Fight Club 25th anniversary art book, featuring never-before-seen visuals, exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes content.
