DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group Nov. 10 honored Shobana Radhakrishnan, senior director of engineering for Google TV, with the 2025 Hedy Lamarr Award for Innovation in Entertainment Technology, and Wendy Aylsworth, CEO/CTO of Walden Pond, with the Hedy Lamarr Inspiration Award. In its ninth year, the Hedy Lamarr Award recognizes female executives in the fields of entertainment and technology who have made a significant contribution to the industry.
The 2025 Hedy Lamarr Achievement Award for Emerging Leaders in Entertainment Technology, honoring a female college student whose studies in the fields of entertainment and technology have shown exceptional promise, went to Shantelle Subkhanberdina, an undergraduate at the University of Michigan majoring in Performing Arts Technology with a concentration in audio engineering and computer science
The awards ceremony took place at the Imax campus in Playa Vista, Calif.
