Walt Disney Home Entertainment will release Zootopia 2, the highest-grossing American animated movie of all time, through digital retailers Jan. 27, and on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD disc March 3.
The film, which was released theatrically over the Thanksgiving weekend, has grossed $1.7 billion worldwide and more than $400 million domestically. It is the No. 2 movie of 2025 globally in terms of box office.
The sequel to 2016’s Zootopia finds buddy cops Judy Hopps the rabbit and Nick Wilde the fox once again teaming up to crack a new case when they find themselves on the twisting trail of a mysterious reptile.

The 4K Ultra HD disc edition is a limited-edition Steelbook with the film on 4K and regular Blu-ray discs, and a digital copy.
Home entertainment extras include eight deleted sequences with an introduction by directors Jared Bush and Byron Howard, and a “Zoo” music video by Shakira. Also included are six featurettes: “The Zookeepers,” a tour of Walt Disney Animation Studios; “A City of Stars,” at look at the voice cast; “Wilde Times in the Booth,” a peek at the voice-recording sessions; “Everybody Can Draw!,” a discussion of the film with animation supervisor Benson Shum as he shows viewers how to draw the new beaver, Nibbles; “Zoo-prising Secrets,” a guide to fun facts and Disney references hidden throughout the movie; and “The Treat Trolley,” an introduction to the team that brings snacks to the Disney Animation artists.
A bundle of both “Zootopia” films also will be available digitally and on DVD.
