‘Severance’ Remains Atop Weekly Whip U.S. Streaming Originals Chart Through Feb. 23

“Severance” for a fifth week took the No. 1 spot on the Whip Media chart of streaming originals among U.S. consumers for the week ended Feb. 23.
The second season of the Apple TV+ series debuted Jan. 17. “Severance” follows Mark Scout (Adam Scott), who leads a team at Lumon Industries, whose employees have undergone a severance procedure that surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives.
Remaining at No. 2 on the chart was “Invincible,” season three of which premiered Feb. 6 on Prime Video. The adult animated series is based on the comic book series.
Landing at No. 3 on the chart was “Reacher,” season three of which premiered Feb. 20 on Prime Video. The series, based on the books and starring Alan Ritchson, follows a self-proclaimed hobo and former U.S. Army military policeman with formidable physical and intellectual abilities as he fights criminals on his journeys.
Rising five spots to No. 4 on the chart was the thriller “Yellowjackets,” season three of which debuted Feb. 14. It follows a group of teenagers involved in a 1996 plane crash and follows the consequences of the event in their adult lives.
Remaining at No. 5 on the chart was “Paradise,” which debuted on Hulu on Jan. 26. The political thriller is set in a bunker in Colorado three years after a doomsday event as a U.S. Secret Service agent tries to discover the truth behind the killing of the President of the United States.
